Hunan JY Casting is manganese steel, chrome steel, and alloy steel foundry, which is located in Loudi city, Hunan Province. Mr. Zhu established Hunan JY Casting in 1989 to meet the growing demand for manganese steel wear parts by the mining, quarry, engineering, and aggregate industry.
For over 30 years, our worldwide customers: designers, engineers, project managers, purchasing, production, and maintenance departments, and contractors have relied on Hunan JY Casting to deliver innovative engineered, market-leading, quality cast, forged and fabricated wear, abrasion, and heat resistant products. We take pride in providing best-in-class performance and proven industry-leading high wear, extended service life, ease of maintenance, and significantly reduced operating and maintenance costs.
Mr. Zhu led a team of four to start JY Casting in Loudi City, Hunan Province, China. With a 200 kg furnace, the foundry started with melting metal scraps into steel blocks and sold them to bigger steel makers as melting material.
Observing the boom in China’s economic reform, Hunan JY Casting started to produce manganese crusher liners up to 2000 kgs that were popular nearby quarries in Hunan province.
This year, JY Casting starts to supply OEM services for the largest China crusher plants manufacturer. The OEM products include crusher jaw plates, cone crusher liners, and other manganese wear parts.
Because of business development, the new Hunan JY Casting is established. This new foundry focuses on casting TIC inserts crusher wear parts, Martensite ceramic blow bars, and high-quality manganese wear parts.
Because of business development, Hunan JY Casting’s second branch is established. Expansion of production capacity from 4,000 tons per year to 8,000 tons per year.

What do you manufacture there?
Hunan JY Casting manufactures a wide variety of steel and iron parts for basic industry. These are replacement parts for high-wear applications, such as those that take abuse from abrasion, impact, or heat in rock crushers, grinding mills, mine shovels and draglines, electric power plants, cement plants, and metal and waste recycling shredders. We are a vertically integrated manufacturer with all the departments in-house to engineer and manufacture castings. Read more about our products →
What is your production capacity?
We are able to produce 8,000 tons of castings a year at full capacity.
Which types furnaces do you use and what are their capacities?
We use two 5 ton induction furnaces and the maximum melt is 14 tons. We are planning to increase the melt capacity in the near future.
What temperature is the casting when it enters the heat treatment furnace?
Room temperature.
– All castings go through a cooling phase which takes from 48 hours to 120 hours depending on the thickness of the castings. For example, our C200 plates are about 300 mm thick, so they have to cool down for at least 100 hours.
– Each casting has a process sheet that lists the related requirements, including cooling time.
